The ergonomic design, the fit & finish, the hardware & parts all make this lame a work of art. The lame feels like a natural extension of my hand, and the fact that it is made for left-handed bakers is an added bonus. Additionally, the suggestions that were included in the package informed me of a few things I had not thought of. This was a perfect gift from my wife!!!
I had been given a right-handed version before, and it is beautiful, but I eventually tired of having to think about the placement of the knobs. So I bought a new lefty and I am super happy (my wife gets to keep using my right-hand one). Just as good looking as my first one, and super easy to use. My bread has never looked so good.
